Designed to correct for perspective distortions such as converging verticals, Viewpoint can now also use DxO Optics Modules to correct for the lens's barrel or pincushion distortion. I agree that it would be nice If all of the embedded Viewpoint features in PhotoLab would be available in PhotoLab Elite without the need for a separate Viewpoint license.įor those of us who don’t use the standalone versions of Viewpoint or FilmPack, I would like to see an alternative version of PhotoLab with all the embedded features available without the need for additional licenses. I can’t speak to the future of the other main features in Viewpoint including Volume deformation, the new Flip feature, and the new Reshape tool.

The embedded Perspective functionality in PhotoLab, which previously required a license to Viewpoint, is now available to everyone in PhotoLab 6 Elite. Maybe they will include View Point in PL 7 Elite
